Basketball Recap: Willowbrook Takes a Loss

Willowbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers, falling 63-37. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while the Tigers are ranked 71st).

Willowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Willowbrook has already played their next contest, a 70-54 defeat against Metea Valley on the 18th. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-46 loss against Stevenson on the 18th.
