Football Recap: Waiakea Gets the Win

Waiakea's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Ka'u Trojans 30-28. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 0-0 back in August.

Waiakea's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Ka'u, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Waiakea will head out on the road to take on Kohala at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ka'u, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pahoa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Daggers have played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
