While Marshall's victory against June Jordan School of Equity wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Phoenix made off with a 1-0 win over the Jaguars. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Marshall now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will square off against Coastal Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for June Jordan School of Equity, they will be home for the holidays to greet Sterne at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
