After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockford, Annandale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers by a score of 6-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Brandon Cooper, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Noah Elam, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
