Softball Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

Peninsula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three runs.

Frances Toman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-17.

Peninsula didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-3 defeat against Redondo Union on the 1st. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Palos Verdes on the 1st.
