Manteno came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Morris by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against Morris back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manteno to victory, but perhaps none more so than Danika Fletcher, who had nine assists and five aces. That's the most aces Fletcher has posted since back in September of 2024.

Manteno's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Morris, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 24-6.

Manteno didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Serena on the 18th. As for Morris, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Peotone on the 18th.
