Softball Recap: Wilson Hall Barons vs. Hammond Skyhawks
Wilson Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Hammond Skyhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wilson Hall of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Friday.
For Hammond's part, Grace Beacham made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits. Beacham has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Beacham was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
