Basketball Game Preview: Clarion Area Bobcats vs. Clarion-Limestone Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Clarion Area Bobcats face off against the Clarion-Limestone Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Monday... Clarion Area is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Clarion Area is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 58-52 W over Lakeview on Friday.

Meanwhile, Clarion-Limestone took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They managed a 57-52 victory over Moniteau.

Clarion Area better keep an eye on Paul Craig. He was instrumental in Clarion-Limestone's win, going 6 of 9 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points. The dominant performance gave Craig a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Runyan, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Clarion Area now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Clarion-Limestone, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Clarion Area came up short against Clarion-Limestone in their previous meeting back in January, falling 55-49. Can Clarion Area avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
