The matchup between Oxon Hill and Crossland on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. Oxon Hill put the hurt on Crossland with a sharp 31-5 victory. The Clippers haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Danica Daproza was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Daproza was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Avril Frazier was incredible, going a perfect 6-for-6 with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in stolen bases (two). Sydney Carter was another key player, going 3-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.

Oxon Hill's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxon Hill will square off against International High School at Largo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crossland, they will face off against Fairmont Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
