If Newcastle wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Torrington, they should've done a better job of containing Mac Hibben. The Torrington Trailblazers blew past the Newcastle Dogies 55-34 on Saturday thanks in part to Hibben, who went 8-for-18 en route to 21 points along with seven boards and six steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Torrington's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Newcastle, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Torrington will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheatland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newcastle, they will head out on the road to square off against Rawlins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
