Football Game Preview: Thayer Central vs. Exeter-Milligan/Friend

Exeter-Milligan/Friend will challenge Thayer Central on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Thayer Central will need to watch out since Exeter-Milligan/Friend have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Last Friday, Exeter-Milligan/Friend were putting the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Lourdes Central Catholic as the squad secured a 48-12 win. Exeter-Milligan/Friend were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the national rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, Thayer Central found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-42 punch to the gut against Nebraska Lutheran. Thayer Central were down by 6-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Thayer Central's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Exeter-Milligan/Friend can add another positive mark to their record or if Thayer Central can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Exeter-Milligan/Friend's step.
