Baseball Recap: Stoughton Comes Up Short

Stoughton fell victim to McFarland and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Stoughton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for McFarland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Stoughton will challenge Evansville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for McFarland, they will venture away from home to take on Edgerton at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
