Baseball Game Preview: The Webb School Feet vs. University School of Nashville Tigers

For the second straight game, The Webb School will face off against University School of Nashville. The Feet will face off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Webb School's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over University School of Nashville. The contest marked the Feet's most dominant win of the season.

Mack Hopper was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

In other batting news, Brady Sineus was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Landon O'Neal, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

The Webb School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for The Webb School and bumps their season record up to 14-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for University School of Nashville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
