Marquette Manor Baptist Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the City Baptist School Overcomers 8-1 on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Daniel Ebeid as he scored five goals for his team.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marquette Manor Baptist Academy will welcome Lake County Baptist at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be Marquette Manor Baptist Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for City Baptist School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on HomeSchool Resource Center at 5:15 p.m. on September 9.
