After losing to Wood River the last time they met, Sutton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sutton Mustangs walked away with a 64-54 win over the Wood River Eagles on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Sutton's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Wood River, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sutton will head out to square off against Thayer Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Thayer Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sutton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wood River, they will head out on the road to take on Broken Bow at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
