The Gainesville Hurricanes will be playing at home against the Buchholz Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buchholz took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Gainesville, who comes in off a win.
Gainesville's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They secured a 61-57 W over Dunnellon. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Among those leading the charge was Jayden Terry, who scored 30 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Gainesville's points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Mullins, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Buchholz had to suffer through a rough 70-33 loss at the hands of Wildwood. Buchholz has struggled against Wildwood recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Gainesville's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Buchholz, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
