Basketball Game Preview: Marked Tree Indians vs. Bay Yellowjackets

The Marked Tree Indians are taking a road trip to face off against the Bay Yellowjackets at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Marked Tree will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Friday, the stars were shining brightly for Marked Tree in a 54-39 victory over Bradford.

Meanwhile, Bay lost 60-36 to Rector on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Marked Tree, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Marked Tree beat Bay 10-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marked Tree since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
