Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Metro Tech Knights, falling 25-6. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Central saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Aguino, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Metro Tech, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Central has already played their next matchup, an 18-4 loss against Alhambra on the 25th. As for Metro Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-2 defeat against Fairfax on the 25th.
