Basketball Recap: Southeast Halifax Comes Up Short

Southeast Halifax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost to the Northampton County Jaguars on the road by a 39-25 margin. The Trojans lost against the Jaguars in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-13 score last time.

Southeast Halifax's record now sits at 2-9. As for Northampton County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Southeast Halifax will head out to take on Roanoke Rapids at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northampton County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Edgecombe at 6:00 p.m.
