Football Recap: West Brook's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

West Brook dropped to 5-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell 35-28 to the Beaumont United Timberwolves. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Beaumont United, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Beaumont United got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Race Deshotel out in front who threw for 309 yards and four TDs while completing 91.7% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. The dominant performance also gave Deshotel a new career-high in passer rating (170.1). Da'Shawn Moore helped Deshotel out on the ground, picking up 56 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 98 yards.
