            Basketball Recap: Lincoln Northwest Falcons vs. Bennington Badgers        
        
		
        
        
            Lincoln Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were  outmatched by the Bennington Badgers and fell  67-24. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  34-12.
 Bennington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Macie Reiner led the charge by  putting up 11  points along with seven  boards and four  steals. Reiner has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  steals the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Presley Baca, who  posted ten points in addition to six  boards and six  steals.
Lincoln Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bennington, their win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Northwest will take on Beatrice on Saturday. As for Bennington, they will head out to  challenge Waverly  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Waverly will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Bennington surely won't give up without a fight.
