Lafayette County put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past the Richmond Spartans 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Huskers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9, 25-15.

Sophie Frank paced Lafayette County's offense, picking up 16 kills. Frank got some help from Katie Draisey and her 30 assists. Draisey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lafayette County's win bumped their record up to 14-0-1. As for Richmond, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Lafayette County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Osage on the 27th. As for Richmond, they will venture away from home to square off against Knob Noster at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
