Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hodgdon). They walked away with a 21-17 win over the Stearns Minutemen on Monday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Minutemen recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hodgdon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Stearns, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hodgdon beat Stearns by a score of 21-17 later that day.
