Softball Recap: Levelland's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Levelland had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the Irving Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Lobos, who have now won 14 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Levelland's victory bumped their record up to 18-1-1. As for Irving, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8-1.

Coming up, Levelland will head out on the road to square off against Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Irving, they will square off against Pearce at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Pearce their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
