Lakeland was the 4-0 winner over Sturgis when they last played one another back in September of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 4-1 to the Trojans on Monday. Lakeland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sturgis, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lakeland will venture away from home to face off against South Lyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sturgis, they will host Harper Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
