Basketball Game Preview: West Broward Bobcats vs. McArthur Mustangs

The West Broward Bobcats will square off against the McArthur Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

West Broward is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against South Broward on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. West Broward had to suffer through a 52-18 loss at the hands of South Broward. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, after only 25 points in their last game, McArthur made sure to put some points up on the board against Plantation on Monday. McArthur blew past Plantation 61-26. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

McArthur moved to 10-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for West Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

West Broward took a serious blow against McArthur in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 60-17. Thankfully for West Broward, Jahnya Lewis (who almost dropped a triple-double on 28 points, nine rebounds, and 13 steals) won't be suiting up this time.
