Volleyball Recap: Laguna Blanca Takes a Loss

Laguna Blanca lost against Bishop Diego back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Owls took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. While the Owls didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cardinals 25-17 in the first set.

Laguna Blanca started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

This is the second loss in a row for Laguna Blanca and nudges their season record down to 10-7. As for Bishop Diego, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-11.

As of now, neither Laguna Blanca nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
