Basketball Recap: Ray Takes a Loss

If Ray was feeling good fresh off their 90-36 takedown of Bainville last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ray Ray Jays were beaten by the Bishop Ryan Lions 75-40 on Friday.

Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bishop Ryan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Ray will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Parshall/North Shore at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Bishop Ryan will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against St. John at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. One thing working in Bishop Ryan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
