Soccer Recap: Central Cabarrus Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Central Cabarrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls. While losing is never fun, Central Cabarrus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 497th, while Hickory Ridge are ranked 27th).

Central Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hickory Ridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Cabarrus will square off against rival West Cabarrus at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Harding University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
