Basketball Recap: Melbourne Gets the Win

Melbourne won against Eau Gallie last Friday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Melbourne Bulldogs walked away with a 55-44 victory over the Rockledge Raiders. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win made it two in a row for Melbourne and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Rockledge, their loss ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Melbourne will take on Harmony in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockledge and Eau Gallie will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
