Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Christian Takes a Loss

If Tri-City Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gray Stone Day last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Tri-City Christian came up short against the Winston Salem Christian Lions on Sunday, falling 3-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which Tri-City Christian was not able to get on the board.

Tri-City Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 27-25.

Tri-City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Winston Salem Christian, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Tri-City Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against East Forsyth on the 30th. As for Winston Salem Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Triad Math and Science Academy on the 28th.
