Softball Recap: East Prairie Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, East Prairie was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 18-1 to the Kennett Indians. The Eagles have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

East Prairie saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

East Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Kennett, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

Coming up, East Prairie will venture away from home to face off against Twin Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennett, they will face off against Neelyville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
