After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plainview-Elgin-Millville, Wabasha-Kellogg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Houston Hurricanes 10-9. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Wabasha-Kellogg's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Houston, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wabasha-Kellogg will face off against Fillmore Central/Lanesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Houston, they will challenge Schaeffer Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
