Soccer Recap: West Florida Comes Up Short

West Florida was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. 2025 welcomed they with an 8-0 loss courtesy of the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders. The shutout was out of character for the Jaguars seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

West Florida's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Pensacola Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

West Florida wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 loss against Booker T. Washington on the 7th. Pensacola Catholic has also already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Navarre on the 8th.
