Cedar Falls got themselves on the board against Decorah-North Winneshiek on Wednesday, but Decorah-North Winneshiek never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Vikings. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Cedar Falls has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, with the loss, they broke their 16-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-3.
