Recap: Medford Mustangs vs. Lynn English Bulldogs
The Medford Mustangs lost against the Lynn English Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Medford had to suffer through a rough 86-49 loss at the hands of Lynn English. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Medford in their matchups with Lynn English: they've now lost seven in a row.
Lynn English's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyle Kemembin led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marvin Perkins, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Medford's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. As for Lynn English, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Revere the next time they take the court. Lynn English will host Revere at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Medford will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
