Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Berman Hebrew Academy walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 64-23 win over the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Berman Hebrew Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elijah Teitelbaum led the charge by going 5-for-7 en route to 10 points along with five assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Hasan, who posted eight points and three steals.

Berman Hebrew Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive games.

Despite the defeat, Model Secondary School for the Deaf saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Johan Hewapathirana had nine points.

Berman Hebrew Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season. Model Secondary School for the Deaf's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-19.

Berman Hebrew Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-46 victory against St. Anselm's Abbey on the 19th. Model Secondary School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
