Basketball Recap: Ralston Comes Up Short

Ralston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 34th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Malcolm Clippers, falling 74-17. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Clippers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Ralston's loss came despite strong showings from Andi Radji and Makayla Hargrave. Radji posted nine points, while Hargrave had no points.

Payton Dolliver continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Malcolm, going 9 of 12 on her way to 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Dolliver is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 21 or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Laurel Johnson, who went 6 for 7 en route to 14 points and five boards.

Ralston's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Malcolm, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Ralston has already played their next match (against Wahoo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Malcolm has already played their next contest, a 65-36 win against Nebraska City on the 17th.
