Softball Recap: South Albany Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for South Albany's offense. They came up short against the Central Panthers on Friday, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Redhawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Albany's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Looking ahead, South Albany is taking a road trip to take on Silverton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against McKay at 5:00 p.m. The Panthers are facing the Royal Scots at the right time seeing as the Royal Scots are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
