Linville Hill waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the New Covenant Christian Flames as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Flames, too.

Linville Hill not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept New Covenant Christian between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.

Leading Linville Hill to victory were Trent Stoltzfus and Zach Landis. Stoltzfus had 15 digs and one assist, while Landis had ten digs and one assist. Stoltzfus is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season.

Despite the defeat, New Covenant Christian had strong showings from Nathan Barnhart, who had 17 digs, seven kills, and one block, and Elijah Hess, who had nine digs and one assist.

Linville Hill's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for New Covenant Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Linville Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Covenant Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Dayspring Christian Academy on the 14th.
