Syracuse entered their tilt with Layton on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

One reason for the win was Syracuse's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-15.

Leading Syracuse to victory were Presley Worthington and Miyah Lish. Worthington had 14 digs and three assists, while Lish had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Worthington has posted over her last eight contests.

Syracuse's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Layton, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Syracuse and Layton will both be playing Weber the next time they take the court. The Titans will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lancers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
