Stockdale had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a run and slipped past the Karnes City Badgers 13-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Brahmas have posted since February 25th.

Stockdale's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Karnes City, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockdale will take on Luling at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Karnes City, they will square off against Poth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Badgers will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
