Normal Community waltzed into their match on Monday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs. The Ironmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Michaels, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Max Heineman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Normal Community pushed their record up to 30-4 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Mahomet-Seymour, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.
