Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Central Bulldogs vs. North Atlanta Warriors

After flying high against Lambert on Tuesday, Forsyth Central came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the North Atlanta Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hollie Schimweg paced Forsyth Central's offense, picking up 17 kills. Schimweg got some help from Mackenzie Porter and her 33 assists. Schimweg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

North Atlanta's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Genevieve Pawlowski, who had 11 digs and three aces. What's more, Pawlowski racked up 23 assists, the most she's had since back in August. Eleni Karagiannis was another key player, getting 18 digs and four assists.
