Meracle has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive pitching appearances. Meracle was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a home run.
In other batting news, Borah got a massive performance out of Olyvia Chalifoux, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Chalifoux is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Kayla Campbell was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
Borah's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Centennial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.
Borah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to square off against Mountain View at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mountain View is coming into the game with four straight wins at home, so Centennial will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
