If Elkhorn North was riding high fresh off their 52-30 takedown of Northwest last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Elkhorn North took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blair Bears. Elkhorn North's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Elkhorn North players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sahler Smith, who posted seven points and six boards.

Blair's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addie Sullivan led the charge by putting up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadence Field, who had nine points.

Elkhorn North's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Blair, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.

Elkhorn North has already played their next matchup, a 56-36 loss against Pius X on the 1st. As for Blair, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-43 defeat against Bennington on the 26th.
