Baseball Recap: Lawndale Comes Up Short

Lawndale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Leuzinger Olympians. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Cardinals, who until this matchup were averaging 3.91 runs allowed.

Lawndale's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Leuzinger, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lawndale is set to square off against their familiar foe Inglewood at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Leuzinger will challenge rival Beverly Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
