The Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 51-22 victory over Lake Worth at home. Winning may never get old, but Dr. Joaquin Garcia sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Dr. Joaquin Garcia found their leader in underclassman Lauren Vance, who scored 18 points. Vance continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleesia Phillips, who scored ten points.
Dr. Joaquin Garcia's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Lake Worth, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Dr. Joaquin Garcia will be playing in front of their home fans against Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Worth, they will head out on the road to challenge Inlet Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
