Baseball Recap: Little Axe's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Little Axe can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Anadarko Warriors 16-15. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Indians' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Lane Foreman was a standout: he scored four runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Gene Curnett, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 4-for-5.

Little Axe's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Anadarko, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Little Axe will head out to face off against Konawa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Anadarko, they will square off against Lawton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
