Softball Recap: Sehome Comes Up Short

Sehome lost against Mt. Baker back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Sehome lost 22-5 to Mt. Baker. The match marked the Mariners' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jacinta Lewis was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.

Sehome now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Mt. Baker, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Sehome will host Burlington-Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Baker, they will challenge Ferndale at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ferndale will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Mt. Baker surely won't give up without a fight.
